Eligible projects must be fully included in one or a subset of the following thematic focus areas of ARTES 4.0:Robotics and collaborative machinesArtificial Intelligence SystemsTechnologies for real-time process optimizationAugmented and virtual reality and multisensory telepresence and Human Computer Interaction systems4.0 solutions for the protection of workers' health and safety at work Digitalization and robotization of processes to increase the productivity and safety of operators Security technologies, “Cyber” and otherwise, “augmented” (also using drones in contaminated and/or quarantined areas).
The eligible interventions must have as their object industrial Special Data research and experimental development activities and include:a concrete intervention plan, detailed in investments, costs and timesthe drafting of a financial plan to cover the costs of the projectan estimate of the economic benefits for the company in terms of reducing inefficiencies, waste and costs, also in terms of improving the quality of processes and productsa level of technological maturity TRL (Technology Readiness Level) in a range between TRL 5 and TRL 8 and which reaches, at the end of the activities, a level equal to at least TRL 7possibility of carrying out tests with prototypes "in the field" within six months to support the ongoing emergency situation, compatibly with current legislation and decreesThe intervention must last no more than 12 months . The duration of the project with a working prototype (unless certified) of less than 12 months will be the reward criterion.The admitted project must be started no later than 30 days from the date of publication of the final ranking.Each beneficiary can submit only one application.
Eligible expenses for the Artes 4.0 callThe following expenditure items are eligible:costs of employees and other auxiliary personnelcosts relating to instrumentation and equipmentcosts for consultancy services and intangible assets: research collaborations with public and private entities, costs for contractual research, knowledge and patents acquired or licensed from external sources under normal market conditions, as well as costs for consultancy services and equivalent servicesoverhead costs directly attributable to the projectother operating costs including material costsThe eligible expenses are realizable starting from the date of presentation of the project proposal.
